ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT
IIE is managed by a Board of Management and a Society appointed by the Government of India. The President of the Society is the Chairman of the North Eastern Council. The Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of SSI & ARI is the Chairman of the Board of Management. The Secretary, North Eastern Council is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Management. The day-to-day activity of the Institute is managed by the Director of the Institute. The Director of the Institute is at present assisted by 5 Heads of Divisions viz. Centre for Entrepreneurship Education
(CEE), Centre for Industrial Extension and Consultancy (CCE), Centre for Enterprise Development and Management
(CDM), Centre for Research (CFR) and Centre for Information Management
(CIM) along with 4 Associate Faculty Members, one Documentation Officer and 5 Research Associates for academic purposes. The Administration and Accounts departments are headed respectively by an Administrative Officer and an Accounts Officer along with a System Administrator for Computer and
a Superintendent for training activities. There are 29 other supporting staff.
