  ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT

IIE is managed by a Board of Management and a Society appointed by the Government of India. The President of the Society is the Chairman of the North Eastern Council. The Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is the Chairman of the Board of Management. Secretary, North Eastern Council is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Management. The day-to-day activity of the Institute is managed by the Director of the Institute. The Director of the Institute is at present assisted by four Heads of Divisions viz. Centre for Enterprise Development and Management (CEDM), Centre for Entrepreneurship Education (CEE), Centre for Industrial Extension (CCE) and Centre for Research (CFR) along with four Associate and Assistant Faculty Members each and one Documentation Officer. The Administration and Accounts Departments are headed by an Administrative Officer and an Accounts Officer respectively along with an Assistant Programmer for the Computer Section and a Superintendent for training activities. There is 29 other supporting staff.
