life and commitment to one's conscience are becoming crucial. We believe
that the emerging challenges require an entrepreneurial and managerial
approach. Effective management and entrepreneurship education is therefore,
more important and relevant than ever.
At IIE, we are committed to a philosophy of educating and preparing
young men and women to become change agents who would manage and build
organizations that contribute to the growth and development of society
in general. A cross functional knowledge of management methods, familiarity
with Indian ethos and culture and awareness about changes in the international
market place are essential to meet these expectations. Education at
IIE doesn't merely consist of transfer of knowledge-concepts, tools,
facts and framework - but also development of the requisite skills to
apply the knowledge. Inculcation of appropriate values, acquirement
of proper perspectives and building a capacity to learn on a continuous
basis are important objectives of the IIE education process.
We will basically provide the guidance and direction and leave it to
our students to think and learn for themselves. We care for the development
of their personalities and potential and shall strive to make them constantly
aware of their role and responsibilities to the society. The students
would also be regularly exposed to real life situations and issues.
We welcome your interest in our Institute. We believe that if you have
it in you to put up with the demands that we shall make upon you, you
would have the most enriching one year of your life which will make
you the gateway entrepreneur of 21st century. On our part, we expect
a rigorous adherence to a grueling schedule, a commitment to work hard,
a willingness to make small sacrifices of youth and a basic desire to
swim against the tide of mediocrity and ordinariness.
